An overview of OST and its Services and Programs - research
Current OST research projects include:
-
Social Change – identifies the most powerful global trends in order to adjust policies, strategies, services/products and to influence social change in different directions.
-
The prevention of Mental Illness in the Workplace – our initial results are disturbing. We are now testing the impact organisational design choice on employee mental health and productivity.
-
The relationship of Social Change and Personality – we believe that different types of personality are responding to and making social change in different ways. This is important information for policy makers and recruitment, retention and talent management.
-
Climate change – will result in practical strategies for organisations and communities to more effectively address the causes and effects of climate change.
-
Science and open systems – will result in a book by Merrelyn Emery documenting the need for science in general to move from closed systems and reductionism to the reality of phenomena as open systems.
